Tarpaulins have diverse applications: in the logistics industry, they are often used to cover truck cargo to prevent moisture and damage during transportation; in agriculture, they are used to construct temporary greenhouses or sunshades to regulate crop growth; on construction sites, tarpaulins can cover building materials and equipment to prevent rain erosion; and during outdoor activities, they can also serve as the base material for tents and canopies, providing temporary shelter. Furthermore, industry standards clearly define parameters such as tarpaulin weight, width, and density. For example, a higher weight (e.g., above 300g/㎡) indicates stronger waterproofing. Width (1.5-2 meters) should be selected based on the actual coverage area.
When purchasing, consider the material composition (e.g., 100% polyester is more durable), the weave (plain weave is denser), and its functional properties (abrasion resistance and aging resistance).
